What these percolators are a basic pot that you have to put on the stove for hours on end. This will really waste the coffee beans that you have chosen specifically for creating the best coffee. When you create the best coffee you have to make sure that the water is just below boiling temperature. The problem with percolators is that they boil the beans at such a high temperature that the flavour in the beans is lost. If however you do not agree this then please be my guest and continue to use the percolator for sub par coffee. However if you want to have the best tasting coffee then you should invest in a machine that will provide that.
So there you have it, a coffee maker does not need to have the best or the most features in the world to make the best coffee, but you can really get the best coffee from the simplest makers.
